Baby Dedication

We had a simple ceremony at church yesterday (July 15th) to dedicate ourselves and the baby to God.

I felt like my brain was all stuffed up again and couldn't express what I really wanted to say during the sharing.

I want to add that we are truely thankful for this beautiful girl God has given to us. Eden is a very happy and healthy baby. As we watch her reaching her developmental milestones (like push ups, baby talk, grabbing stuff), our hearts are filled with enormous joy and wonderment. Life is truely amazing.

The journey of waiting, pregnancy and labor helped me realized that God is really the one in control of our lives. There were really tough times and tears behind all this process but God was walking with me all along. We are also blessed to be surrounded with lots of love from our family and friends. The moment in the surgery room was the time Don and I faced the biggest fear in our lives so far. At that moment, God is the only one we can rely on. We thank God for his protection and blessings in our family. And I thank God that He has given me the courage to want to do this again. :)
